The charger is the weak link to the B & D firestorm drill. These are brand new, in the package fire storm batteries, at a great price. If you have problems with a Black & Decker 18v charger, switch over to a Dewalt charger, it works just fine, and is a much better charger.
I would recommend this site/seller. Prompt service at an excellent price. Battery is as new, with no problems.
Excell price for a replacement battery, 18v, lots of power and makes the drill feel like new.
Great tools for the novice builder This drill unit has given me years of work and thousands of hours of use.
Then came upon this battery replacement for old one - better charge hold and much cheaper than new drill. Almost bought a new drill.
